Kenny Li

Designer B.Env.D

Kenny is the latest addition to 701, joining the office after receiving his Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from the University of Manitoba in 2020. During his academic journey he gained experience in mid-rise, mixed use infill projects in Winnipeg, working collaboratively with the City Planning Department in the Faculty of Architecture. He also participated in a small scale design build project – the 2019 Faculty of Architecture warming hut. Kenny was awarded international student scholarships and was named to the Dean’s Honour List in his final year.

Currently a designer at the office, Kenny has worked on transit oriented development master planning in Winnipeg as well as a small scale installation project. He has quickly become an invaluable member of the 701 team, bringing sophisticated design and visualization skills to the table that belie his recent entry into professional practice.
